Our Corporate Social Responsibility Program
From Disable to The Able is an integrated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program owned by Sequis with the vision of a better tomorrow for the unfortunate with both physical and financial limitations.
The program was launched on April 21, 2013 at Parkir Selatan, Gelora Bung Karno Senayan, Jakarta which was inaugurated by Tatang Widjaja, President Director & CEO PT A.J Sequis Life accompanied by Drs. Samsudi, MM, Direktur Jenderal Rehabilitasi Sosial Kementerian Sosial Republik Indonesia and Tri Kurniadi, Wakil Walikota Jakarta Utara.
Supported by Yayasan Tuna Daksa (YPTD), Sequis succesfully distributed 2.000 prosthectic limbs in 2013 and 2014 to Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cirebon, Bandung, Aceh, Palembang, Balikpapan, Garut, Malang, Yogyakarta, Solo, and many other cities in Indonesia.
Sequis continuously committed to provide 1,000 prosthetic limbs to various regions in Indonesia. So far Sequis with YPTD has distributed prosthetic limbs to Lampung, Sumedang, Sragen, Jakarta, Demak, Karawang, Bogor, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Kutai, Kertanegara, Brebes, Batang, Tegal, Depok, Indramayu, Subang, Purbalingga, Padang, Riau, Surakarta, Yogyakarta, Banyuwangi, Klaten, Pati, pekalongan, Boyolali, Bantul, Magelang, Temanggung, Ngampel, Semarang, Majalengka, Purworejo and Bali.
Periodically, Sequis provides motivational education to prosthetic limbs recipients with a theme of “Langkah & Semangat Baru untuk Hari Esok Lebih Baik”. The gathering presents relevant topics such as spirit of life, how to take care the prosthetic limbs, tips into self-employment by presenting experts or public figure related to the needs of prosthetic limbs recipients. This motivational campaign is intended to build their self-esteem, that they need to continue to improve the standard of living.

Sequis encourages the entire community to participate in giving reference for the unfortunate to receive prosthetic legs
Requirements to receive prosthetic legs:
- Proof of financial disability
- Minimum age 3 years old
- Maximum age 80 years old
- Minimum 7 month after amputation
- For diabetic patients, wounds need to be healed
Documents required:
- A copy of individual ID & Family Card
- Proof of financial disability
- Full body photo (with the disabled leg shown)
